Femmes anonymes

Femmes anonymes (Anonymous Women) is a series that pays tribute to everyday women, those quiet figures who shape our lives from the background: an aunt, a teacher, a neighbor. Each piece, paired with a familiar first name, invites viewers to project their own memories and recognize the strength, sensitivity, and inner richness of these often-invisible women. Through an intuitive exploration of color and texture, Cassandra Julien reveals intimate and universal stories, celebrating the beauty of daily life and the quiet presence of the women who leave lasting marks on our paths.

Femmes en devenir

Femmes en devenir (Women in Becoming) explores the transition from childhood to womanhood through textile works that celebrate identity-building and the emergence of self. Inspired by the heroines of Little Women, whose names have been adapted into French, the series reflects young girls discovering their colors with a mix of softness, strength, and quiet reserve. The acrylic panels symbolize the framework in which they grow, a tone-on-tone space where their identity slowly takes shape. This series highlights the intimate, nuanced transformation that shapes women in the making.
